He has obtained his MSc and PhD from Manchester University, UK in 1989 and 2000 respectively. Mriheel has introduced the presence of important Triassic and new Cretaceous petroleum plays in the Western Libya Offshore. In year 2013, Mriheel has introduced a new biogenic gas system in the Libyan offshore and in year 2014 He has pioneered the presence of biogenic gas in isolated carbonate platform play, results of which are already shared with IOC’s working in offshore Libya.
